History of the Internet
1)  The internet was first invented on the 29 of October 1969. By the end of 1971, there were 15 sites fully grown. In 1974, the internet was the greatest invention and in 1981, it was called the computer science network (CSNET). During the 1990's the public internet traffic grew by 100 percent. This started the world of the internet and it just kept growing. By 2007, 97% of telecommunication systems was carried over the internet.

2) The internet makes life easier by being able to send information to other people such as your friends or your boss and you can also read news articles about current affairs which are occurring in the world. You can also catch up via video chats to your family members which live over in different states or countries. Also, you can advertise and sell your products for your company and also real estate.

3) I use the internet at home for researching assignments and for tasks in class, Facebook and Skype with my friends, emailing my assignments to my teachers for marking and you tube for watching videos in my free time. I also buy products on the internet and advertise products for sale.

Social Media

Social Media
1) Social Media is a program which mediates human communications. For example Facebook and twitter are examples of a social media site. Social media sites are used for communication between people, sending important messages and catching up with friends. It can also be used to find out breaking news stories in the world today. Social Medial is a great invention and has changed the internet world.

2) Social media has helped me learn new technology by my friends being able to send me helpful messages and send me videos on what to do.This is helpful with assignments and homework when I have missed school and I need to catch up on work.

3) Social media sites include of Facebook, Twitter and my space. These 3 sites are used for messaging and posting events which are occurring in your life.These sites can also attract more visitors to your businesses and brand names.

Yr 9 ICT

Yr 9 ICT
1) In ICT this year, we have been asked to make word documents, power points, Microsoft Excel and Access files, Graphs, Making sounds in Audacity, Flash and Photoshop and Now we are using blogger to make posts.

2) In this year of ICT, I have developed a lot more skills and knowledge about computers than I would have in any other subject. I have developed the skills to used be able to work my way around computer programs, which will become beneficial in school work and assignments.
   
3) ICT has impacted my learning by teaching me new computer programs which will help in the future when we will have to use these programs in class. I will also be able to understand computers better in the future so I will know what I'm doing on the computer.

Trolls

Trolls
1) An internet troll is someone who posts spam, off-topic messages in an online community, such as a forum, chat room, or blog, with the intent of provoking readers into an emotional response or of otherwise disrupting the normal topic discussion.

2) Trolls have negative impact on technology. They are having a negative impact on technology because they are not using technology correctly and are also sending abuse to people. They are costing businesses money to defend against trolls.

3) The aims of trolls are to offend and put people down online. They try to scam money as well online and make businesses go broke. 



Adobe Programs

Adobe Programs
1) Adobe are a company that makes programs called PDFs which stands for Portable Document Format. PDF files can contain click-able links and buttons, form fields, video, and audio. Two examples of Adobe programs are Photoshop and Flash.

2) These two programs are people friendly because they allow the user to easily understand how to  use these programs. It also helps designers and editors at work because it provides tools that will aid them in the editing and enhancing of photos.

3) I use there programs at school for tasks we have to do and last term we had an assignment for adobe programs. We had to make a webpage in Photoshop and import it into flash to make buttons and logos work.

Microsoft Outlook

 Microsoft Outlook
1) Microsoft Outlook is a Microsoft application. It is  mainly used for emails, however it also includes a Calendar, Task Manager, Contact Manager, note taking and web browsing.

2) The other applications that are associated with Outlook are Calendar, Contact Manger and Note Taking. The calendar could be used to give you notifications when there is something important on. The contact Manager could be used for storing your favorite contacts and creating a group for your contacts, which saves time. Note taking could be used for taking notes in a meeting to save taking out paper and it would also be faster than writing on paper.

3) The contact Manager can be used to enhance outlook by storing your favorite contacts sot that it is quicker to send emails to them.
